Southern Tier Gender Alliance is a support and social activities group for

Ithaca Transgender Support Group
 
The Ithaca Trans Group is a support group for individuals who feel that
their birth sex does not adequately describe their gender identity and who
either do or do not want to take steps to medically transition (or already
have). The group is open to ALL individuals who identify somewhere along the transgender spectrum. The primary objective is to provide support,
resources, and social opportunities for participants through regular,
bi-weekly meetings and social events in a non-intimidating environment.
Peer-led bi-weekly meetings are held every other Sunday from 5-7 p.m. Meeting
attendance is strictly confidential.

The Q Center for LGBT Youth at ACR Health 
 
ACR Health’s Q Centers, located in the Central, Northern and Mohawk Valley
regions of NYS, provide comprehensive programming for lesbian, gay,
bisexual, transgender, questioning/queer (LGBTQ) youth and young adults
between the ages of 8 and 29 and children of LGBTQ parents, their families,
allies, teachers, school administrators, school counselors, school social
workers, and health and human service providers in our nine-county service
area. Q Center programming seeks to promote equality, celebrate diversity,
and create a safer, more accepting and inclusive community for all.
 
Our Q Centers offer: weekly support groups for LGBTQ youth, Transgender

Pride Center

Compass House

A new direction for a better life; safe shelter and services for runaway and homeless youth

Our Resource Center provides non-residential support to youth ages 14-24 years old that are homeless or at risk of being homeless.  Services include case management, instruction on independent living skills, personal care supplies, food, cooking and laundry facilities and individual, group and family counseling. Gay & Lesbian Youth Services of Western New York, Inc

GLYS provides a safe and positive environment for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning (GLBTQ) youth to learn more about themselves through peer interaction and educational experiences. The organization creates opportunities for emotional growth and community awareness. GLYS assists gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth by providing:
